I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with the host of Off Limits and Mysteries at the Museum, Don Wildman, about his explorations around the world. Very humble and interesting guy with an insane desire to always know more. If Amelia Earhart and Indiana Jones had a love child, it would be him.Read it here.

Today my fourth book, Dark World, which I co-wrote with Zak Bagans, made the New York Times bestseller list at number 18. I am very happy to achieve this honor and very grateful to Zak for making it such a great book. Let’s hope it’s not the last time. See the full list here. -

You may know who Zak Bagans is. Or you may not. Either way, he and I are co-authoring a book about the years he’s spent running around the world chasing ghosts…or conducting paranormal investigations and gathering evidence as we like to call it. It’s a fascinating subject, but not one that I typically write about. So how did it happen? Zak is an MMA fan and I am an MMA writer, so I featured him in an article in FIGHT! magazine. Next thing you know I’m on his show and BAM…we’re doing a book project together. Pretty cool. Dark World will be released in October and is available for pre-order now on most big bookseller sites like Barnes & Noble and Amazon. -

Major Richard Winters, whom I once listed as one of the top 10 greatest military bad asses of the 20th Century, passed away at age 92. Winters is best known for his central role in Band of Brothers where he commanded Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment during WWII. Ever humble, Winters asked that the press not be notified until after his funeral so his family could lay him to rest in peace. In a world of tough men, they called him “Sir.” Read the full story here. -

So technically it’s Greg Jackson’s book, but I spent thirteen months writing, editing, and designing it and my name is on the cover, so I’m taking some credit. If you’ve ever wanted to learn ground fighting, this is the book to buy. We spent a lot of time capturing the essential moves that any aspiring fighter (or guy who just wants to defend himself) needs to know and it came out very well.

This is what I do when I’m bored and have a bunch of photos lying around. I’m no Dreamworks, but I can put some good photos together with cool music. This is an ode to the fighters Ranger Up has sponsored over the last 18 months, including Brian Stann, Jorge Rivera, Tim Kennedy, Tim Credeur, and Kris McCray.

Here’s an article I wrote last month for Muscle and Fitness magazine on the baddest guys to ever wear a uniform. Where bad men congregate, these guys are called “Sir.”
